Serial entrepreneur and Thiel Fellow who founded CryoDAO and HydraDAO, funding millions of dollars of moonshot cryopreservation and replacement research. Kai dropped out of high school at 14 and sold his first company at 16. He started Cryopets to give his cat Atlas, and every pet, a chance to overcome death.

Chana Phaedra

Chief Scientific Officer

Long-time cryobiology and neuroscience researcher; former researcher at Alcor and Director at the Institute for Evidence Based Cryonics. She led Advanced Neural Biosciences for over a decade and now drives Cryopets’ scientific strategy and protocols. She holds an M.S. in cognition and neuroscience from UT Dallas and a B.S. in psychology from the University of North Texas.

Hyrum Wolf

Head of Growth

Led marketing and content for the CryoRat and HydraDAO fundraises before joining Cryopets as the first hire to scale growth and operations. The handsome fellow you see in all of the Cryopets advertisements! Previously worked in the medical field as a laboratory and sterilization technician.

Jake Beebe

Head of Engineering

Licensed electrician with over a decade of experience building hospitals, homes, and infrastructure. Now applying that hands-on expertise to Cryopets’ perfusion systems, ambulances, and field equipment.

Austin Lynch

Head of Operations

His dog Datsyuk was the first pet cryopreserved at Cryopets. He now oversees cryogenic storage and facility operations, drawing on his background of cryopreservation and replacement research as the co-founder of CryoDAO and HydraDAO and his work as a former aircraft technician.

Apryl Bromm

Head of Member Care

Leads member care for Cryopets families through planning, preservation, and long-term storage. She runs customer support and emergency contact, helping families stay connected and supported from first questions through welcome kits and every stage of care.
